We had an excellent turn out yesterday for the monthly Cheeseburger game with 35 members signing in to play. There were some excellent scores posted and lots of points earned. So here are the results:
1st Place: Russ Jones, +9 points $87.00
2nd Place: Tie: Sonny Alcorn, +8 points $44.00
Paul Pfeifer, +8 points $44.00
We had 2 players with +7 points, and 2 players with +6, so there was good competition for the prize money.
These weeks are flying by and the League Play season is nearing it's end. We only have 5 more scheduled events which will rap up this season. Please mark your calendars for these two special activities:
September 23rd will be the annual Handicap Tournament. You will be receiving a flyer on it via e-mail within the next few days.
October 7th is our end of the year lunch. We will present the winnings of the Handicap Tournament, Most Improved Golfer of the Year award, and have a business meeting to discuss finances and any rule changes for next year.
